At Demetria Organics, we believe the products we use should be as natural as the body itself.

Demetria Organics was born out of the desire to create an assortment of organic and natural products without the adverse effects associated with ordinary store bought items. We've gone to great lengths to carry and distribute products of the highest quality, containing whole ingredients for the benefit of the entire body.

Marlese, the compassionate mind behind the Demetria Organics brand, sought out all-natural alternatives for nearly everything in her household. After extensive research and personal experimentation, her appreciation for these alternatives and her passion for sustainability directly led to the creation of Demetria Organics.

Our Soap Nuts are organically grown, wild harvested and contain only one ingredient, soap nuts. Soap nuts themselves are dried berries that have been used for thousands of year by people around the world for washing and a variety of remedies. Simply add 3-4 Demetria Organics Soap Nuts to the cotton bag provided and pop it into your regular load of laundry in place of your commercial detergent.

The same Soap Nuts can be reused 3-5 times before composting. Demetria Organics Soap Nuts are bio-degradable, hypoallergenic, anti-microbial and completely free from additives. Our Soap Nuts are gentle enough to be used by people with allergies, on fine linens and delicate babies’ skin.

Demetria Organics has been able to foster relationships with local growers and international cooperatives alike, allowing them to offer rare and luxurious ingredients to their many satisfied customers. We work closely with a co-operative in the village of Kathmandu, Nepal where our soap nuts and teas are picked and packaged by hand, to ensure the use of environmentally sustainable practices.
